Bookshelf Donation to The Empowerment Nursery and Primary School

On March 15, 2024, Kandeba proudly donated a set of custom-built bookshelves to The Empowerment Nursery and Primary School in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State.. This significant contribution is part of our ongoing initiative to enhance educational resources in underserved communities. The event was attended by school staff, students, parents, and Kandeba volunteers, all united by a shared commitment to fostering a love for reading and learning.

The new bookshelves, stocked with a diverse collection of books, were warmly received by the school community. The students eagerly explored the new reading materials, and teachers expressed their gratitude for the improved organization and accessibility the bookshelves provide. This donation marks a crucial step in our mission to create conducive learning environments that inspire intellectual curiosity and academic excellence.

Throughout the event, Kandeba representatives spoke about the importance of literacy and how the new bookshelves would support the students’ educational journeys. The day was filled with joyful interactions, book readings, and a renewed enthusiasm for learning. We look forward to continuing our partnership with The Empowerment Nursery and Primary School and witnessing the positive impact of this donation on the students’ educational experiences.
